response magazine

Recently Response Magazine, the official magazine for United Methodist Women around the world, interviewed members of our UMW Unit and others at First United Methodist Church in Santa Rosa about our work in the community and particularly what we are doing with the homeless served by Spirit Cafe'. They wanted to show how we continue to "be the church" during this pandemic and lockdown. Read what they have to say and watch a short video about it at:

A picture of Adi Mere Nabou and Diane Jackson also appeared on the cover of the Response September/October issue, showing the bagged dinners we hand out on Tuesday evenings to the homeless from our parking lot. Peg & Mike Ferrel also deliver these meals directly to many of the known homeless camps in Santa Rosa.
