Jamie Poma
Hello everyone! My name is Jamie Poma, and I’m so excited to be joining this amazing preschool and working alongside our team of dedicated teachers. I was born and raised in beautiful Sonoma County, where I grew up playing soccer, babysitting and doing 4H livestock projects. I currently live in Windsor with my 13-year-old daughter, Adilynn and our bunny Dusty. I started my journey in Early Childhood Education when I was 19 years old, and I’ve loved every moment since. From 2017 to 2024 I had the pleasure of running La Petite Academy in Windsor, where I learned how special it is to build strong, lasting relationships with students, families and my staff. Creating a warm, welcoming school community is truly at the heart of what I love to do.
I’m truly excited for the opportunity to build upon the strong foundation that already exists at this special school. Preschool is such a magical time, and I feel so honored to be part of these precious early years. My goal is to create an environment that feels like a second home, where every child who walks through our doors feels safe, loved, and free to be themselves. I truly believe that when we work together as a team—parents, teachers, and children—we can create something really special. I appreciate the warm welcome and am so excited to be part of this chapter with everyone at FUMC Preschool!
