Who Are We?
It’s time to have some fun! It’s time to be yourself! It’s time to be connected! It’s time to discover God! Our youth program is called Sonoma County Youth, and we gather each Sunday evening: Middle School from 4-6 pm, and High School from 5-7 pm. We meet at our Stony Point Campus. Come and join us. You’ll discover a place of friendship, fun, and faith!
Fun Times!
Last year we went skating, bowling and swimming. We had a backwards progressive dinner and a Super Bowl bake sale. We went on a weekend retreat in the redwoods, and made our own "award winning" films. We made a haunted house for Halloween and ate the world’s largest ice cream sundae. Each week is a little bit different, and each week is a little bit crazy!
Friendship and Faith
We call ourselves a community. A community is about our relationships with one another and living out our faith. “What would Jesus do?” is more than just a slogan. It is a question that can help us deal with the stresses and conflicts of our lives in a positive, & caring way.
Last year we talked about relationships with parents, peer pressure, stress, privacy, values, decision making, addictions, consumerism, friendship, and trust issues.
We also put our beliefs into action.... handing out lunches to the homeless, boxing food at the food bank, and repairing homes on an Indian reservation in Oregon.
