VIM Trip to Fernley, NV

We plan to Travel to Fernley, Nevada this year - 2008. We are inviting you to be a part of the team.

Early Saturday morning, January 5, 2008, a 30’ section of the Truckee Canal breached, flooding an area of approximately two square miles. Over 800 homes in Fernley’s southeast neighborhoods filled with water anywhere from 6 inches to 8 feet deep, with 3-4 feet in the majority of homes. The homeowners will need sheet rock, paint and other materials to repair flood-damaged homes. Our annual conference disaster response efforts will be focused on long-term recovery for those homeowners who have no other resources to rebuilding their homes and their lives.
