Senior Pastor

     The Rev. Greg Bergquist has been a United Methodist Minister for over twenty-five years, serving churches in Georgia, Texas, and California.  Before going into the ministry, he worked as a Systems Engineer and Manufacturing Manager for Procter & Gamble.  He has also taught Historical Theology and Wesleyan/Methodist Studies at Southern Methodist University and the Pacific School of Religion. 

     Greg has a passion for preaching and teaching, communicating the gospel of Jesus Christ as a relevant, progressive, and contemporary expression of love, peace, and justice for all people.  He believes that the core mission of the church is to create a loving community of faith expressed in both personal spirituality and social responsiblity - loving God, others, and self in all that we do and say.

     Greg's family includes his wife, Connie, and two children, Jonathan and Susanna.  Connie is the coordinator of communictions for the church and has been involved in the music industry most of her life.  Jonathan works as a digital media producer for a company in the South Bay.  Susanna is a preschool teacher at Los Altos UMC.  Greg's hobbies include photography, music, cooking, reading, and golf.
