Originally from of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Lindsey studied journalism and music at American University, and after graduation worked in homeless services in Washington, DC. She served as a young adult missionary in Mindanao, Philippines, through the General Board of Global Ministries, before moving to Northern California. She received her Masters of Divinity from Pacific School of Religion in 2013.
Lindsey felt called to ministry since a young age, and found personal inspiration in the work of justice and compassion The United Methodist Church supports. Her work within the local church centers on leading growth through discipleship and spiritual transformation, both of self and social change in the world. Within the California-Nevada Annual Conference, Lindsey serves on the Philippine Solidarity Task Force, and works on issues of justice, peace, and social reform.
Lindsey’s immediate family lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In California, she is surrounded by loving community and lives with her dog, Stosch
