From the first disciples we learn how to practice resurrection and weave our whole life together.

Monday: Jesus appears to the disciples a third time after he was raised from the dead.  


Read John 21:1-14

Questions for Reflection and Application

1. Are you fishing on the wrong side of the boat?  What would it mean, in response to the risen Christ, to cast your net on the other side?

2. How can Christ get your attention today?


Prayer Focus

Pray that God would multiply your effectiveness in sharing the Good News.


Tuesday: Loving Jesus is the core of practicing a resurrection faith and weaving your life together


Read John 21:15-19

Questions for Reflection and Application

1. Why isn’t it enough for Peter to respect, honor or fear Jesus?

2. Do you love Jesus?

3. Out of love for Jesus, Peter is called to feed Jesus’ sheep.  Out of love for Jesus, what are you called to do?


Prayer Focus

Pray Christ’s love would fill your heart so that your

responding love would bless the world.


Wednesday: Paul’s dramatic conversion is in response to an encounter he had with Jesus on the way to

Damascus.  His whole is woven together differently because of his resurrection faith.


Read Acts 9:1-20

Questions for Reflection and Application

1. How is your life different because of your resurrection faith or how would you life be different if you had a resurrection faith

2. How is it possible for someone like Paul to change so completely?  What change is possible in your life?


Prayer Focus

Pray to be God’s instrument today


Thursday: The resurrected and ascended Jesus is also the Lamb that was slaughtered. The cross and resurrection are inseparable.


Read Revelation 5:11-14

Questions for Reflection and Application

1. How do you envision Christ?  Why is it important that that

vision never loose sight of his sacrifice?

2. How can this vision shape your day?


Prayer Focus

Join your voice to the heavenly chorus of blessing, honor and glory expressed to Christ the sacrificial Lamb.


Friday: The psalmist’s expression of joy after being restored to health is equally applicable to our expression of joy that results from being restored to life through the resurrection of Jesus.
