Stewardship 2011

Dear Church Family,
The annual Stewardship campaign is the time when people in our church family make pledges which in turn will determine the operating budget for 2012. As we anticipate the financial challenges ahead your pledge becomes very important.
The financial challenge for our church family during the coming year is two-fold: pay 100% of our apportionments, requiring an additional $12,000 and reduce our dependence on the Barbara Ferguson Gift by $45,600. To surmount these challenges we need to raise an additional $57,600 or a 9% increase in pledges, a difficult task in the current economic climate.
As with any family facing a budget challenge, we want to talk about and consider our response. A series of family gatherings has been scheduled so we can meet together, talk, listen, and understand the best way to achieve our goal. Please plan to attend one of these family gatherings:
- Saturday, November 5, 9:30 am, Ministry Center, Stony Point campus
- Sunday, November 6, 4:00 pm, Fields Fellowship Hall, Montgomery campus
- Tuesday, November 8, 7:00 pm, Fields Fellowship Hall, Montgomery campus
- Wednesday, November 9, 2:30 pm, McMullin Room, Montgomery campus
- Sunday, November 13 12:00 pm, Ministry Center, Stony Point campus
We encourage you to spend time in prayer to consider your response.
