Bill gave a report on Fair Trade Products:  November was a good month, just short of our biggest month ever.  Bill noted that there has been a request to take credit cards which could be done with a cell phone connection.  Discussion followed, but no decision made.

Susan gave a report on Habitat for Humanity:  There are 2 homes in progress in Sebastopol.  A schedule will be worked out for volunteers.  There are bids on 2 foreclosures in Santa Rosa.  Dec. 15 is date for bids to be disclosed.  Doris Evans will be honored for her service to Habitat after the holidays.

Underwear, Socks & Toiletries drive will be on until December 18.  Boxes are in various locations.  Kris will keep a tally and store items.  Delivery will be to the homeless support center by Diane & Jennifer.

FISH Sunday will be Feb. 8.  Bags will be handed out on Jan. 28 at each service.  We have enough bags.  Laurie will make arrangements for volunteers to get bags to FISH and get them unloaded.

Church Council Report: Bill and Diane attended the meeting.  North Bay Sponsoring Committee speaker Anna Eng is organizing to find out what churches can do and want to do.  Church pays 2%   of annual collection.  That amounts to $6,000 for us.  The church council is considering if we want to be involved.  There seems to be an interest.

Maurine reported on the Family Support Center need for Christmas gifts.  They want gift certificates so parents can purchase gifts for their children. The commission has $125 and there are some SCRIP funds which will go to this need.  If there is money left, reading lights will be purchased.  Maurine will do the follow up.

Promote Outreach:  Bulletin announcements will go in as needed.  Laurie will do next Roseleaf article on FISH Sunday, Susan and Laurie will do January bulletin board on FISH & Habitat and Bill will do web page.

Kris reported on the Hamilton Methodist Church project:  She is finding permits so the facility can be used as a training and retreat center.

There will be no meeting in December.  Next meeting will be January 23 (4th Monday)

Meeting adjourned at 5:30 with prayer.
