Children’s Creative Arts Ministries

 

There’s a wonderful collection of different activities going on creatively for our children at FUMC under the direction of Elizabeth Walton, Coordinator. Take a look at the options!
 

Sunday School Creative Arts Time
Stony Point Campus, Sunday, 11—11:15am
Montgomery Campus, Sunday, 9:45 - 10am

This is a terrific time for exploring and inventing through Creative Arts during our weekly Sunday School assembly time. We participate in a variety of creative activities, and we also share with one another our ideas, opinions, concerns, and prayers.

Spirit Cafe Project Hour -- Come participate in weekly craft projects, drama, singing and writing that directly correspond to each week's Sunday School lesson. While kids are doing their projects, parents are encouraged to enjoy a light meal while attending an informal worship service around dinner tables.
 

Christmas Program
All of our children are warmly invited to share their creative talents by participating in our wholistic church arts program. In preparation for Christmas, a child can find a place in the production as either lead or supporting cast member; as a musical soloist, duo or trio; as backstage or technical crew; or as set developer, builder, painter, etc.  Rehearsals are held during Sunday morning during Creative Arts time, or Tuesday evenings from 6-7pm as part of Spirit Cafe.
