Children’s Creative Arts Ministries

There’s lots going on creatively for our children at FUMC under the direction of Sadie Luke, Coordinator. Take a look at all the options!
 

Children’s Choir
Montgomery Campus, Sunday, 8:45 - 9:15 am
We’ll practice how to be good singers, and will also do some songs with the bell choir. Please come to rehearsals on a regular basis, and we’ll present our music in church as often as we’re ready.

 

Bell Choir
Montgomery Campus, Sunday, 9:00 - 9:30 am
Our young bell players learn the basics of music, like note reading and improvisation. We’ll also work on songs with the children’s choir, and help each other grow through our group playing time.

 

Sunday School Creative Arts Time
Stony Point Campus, Sunday, 11—11:15am
Montgomery Campus, Sunday, 9:45 - 10am
This is a wonderful time for exploring and inventing through Creative Arts during our weekly Sunday School assembly time. We’ll participate in a variety of creative activities, and we’ll also share with one another our ideas, opinions, concerns, and prayers.
 

 General Music and Group Playing
Stony Point Campus, Sunday, 12:00 noon - 1:00 pm
These students will receive specialized group music lessons, which include learning about rhythm, harmony, note reading, piano playing, and even a little instrument study.

 

Christmas and Easter Programs
All of our children are warmly invited to share their creative talents in developing a whole, full-length church program. All children can find a place in the production, as either lead or supporting cast; as a musical soloist, duo or trio; or as backstage crew, etc. All are welcome!
