Open Casting Call for 2010 Winter Musical!!

Thank you for auditioning for our all new, all original musical show! Check out all the characters, scene synopsis, and musical numbers to get an idea about the show. You can also listen to clips of the songs from the show by our very own Stony Point Praise Band members Craig Brumbley and Ryan Comiskey.

Audition Requirements:

• Read a section of the script for the role you want to try out for
• Sing a prepared song either from the show or of your own choosing. A piano accompanist will be available.
• Final Cast will be notified within 72 hours after auditions.

       First Rehearsal: Friday, January 8, 2010, 6:30pm, Fellowship Hall

Rehearsal schedule: Attendance is crucial, as we work on an accelerated production schedule for this show. Plan on January and February rehearsals for principals and company to be some combination of Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6:30 -8:30pm. The performances for this show will run the evenings of March 12, 13, 14 (matinee) and March 19 and 20, with a week of full dress rehearsals starting March 7. The week of March 1-6 will kick off the first full rehearsals with cast and band. More detailed schedules will be available at the first rehearsal, Jan 8.

This year our production will take us on a cruise to escape the winter blahs. So what will we discover about the passengers on board? The baggage they bring along may be more than what’s in their suitcases, and their adventure on the high seas may change them forever. With Julie Harrelson as Celeste, and upbeat contemporary music by Craig & Ryan's band "Tender Morsels," this will be our best show yet!!! 

Everyone one is welcome to try-out!

We can add passengers young and old to our cast, so come join the show!!
